Adult male spending quite a bit of time in a chickasaw plum tree by my patio -- while not up close "guarding" the hummingbird feeders, it could see the feeders and red flowers in my yard. It was more interested in catching insects - flying up several trees seemingly in search of insects - than feeding from my feeders or nectaring from flowers today.

I haven't seen for two days the second "not adult male" hummingbird that had been around. But I've not spent a lot of time watching
