Around 5:30 PM, i observed two Monarchs feeding on a Cone Plant. They fed on nearly all of the flowers blooms for approximately 20 minutes. They would flit about and land on another bloom to continue serious feeding, over and over. As I was watching them, a third Monarch passed by. One of the two then went to a nearby tree, alighting on a limb. About thirty minutes after, they had flittered off, I saw what I believe is the same two, again feeding on the Cone Plant. Amazing to watch.
