Our class ventured outside with our field notes and waited patiently. There have been many reported sighting in Hyattsville this past week and we were hoping to spot a passing monarch. One appeared ,flying fairly low, travelling from north to southwest. The students let up a cheer! They are now all on “monarch watch”.
It was a clear day, light winds and temperatures around 75- low humidity.
