A second and different hummer showed up this evening very late around 6:30 p.m. Best I could tell it was an immature male. So this sighting with female from this morning makes 2. This hummer behaved differently than others as it nectared only from flowers, salvias and firecrackers. It did not approach nor seemed attracted by the nectar feeders. This is opposite behavior from other hummers the last several days. It left for the evening around 6:38 p.m. I watched the hummer feed from the time it arrived until it left. Oakdale MN.
