At The Tip at Point Pelee National Park
16°c & cloudy with ENE wind @19-38 kmh.
5 Monarchs seen this evening but hang tight...got word today that hundreds were seen Oct. 4th NE of here so give those few days to get here. Warm temps starting tomorrow into next Wed & with some luck, favorable winds will bring them down from the north.
This evening one Monarch was seen settled on the calmer West side in a Hackberry Tree at West Path. 2 were seen flitting about & then settling in a tall poplar tree on the shoreline side of West Path.
2 others were seen arriving from the north & flitting over west path to interior trees out of view.
