Two young males showed up this afternoon. Two feeders - two hummingbirds - and as usual - they would "dive-bomb" each other!! One had that first "red feather" under his chin breaking through. Used to scare me because I thought it was blood, and the little bird had been hurt. As this was before I know about "JourneyNorth" - I contacted our Wildlife and Fisheries Dept - and they explained that it wasn't blood - but the first of the red band coming through. SO THANKFUL FOR "JOURNEYNORTH"!
