We've been seeing monarchs in our community garden plot over the past three days. We saw fourteen on October 4th, five on October 5th, and three in the morning and eight in the afternoon on October 6th. The monarchs on the 4th were nectaring, no directional flight. We had picked up a monarch on the 5th and he had almost no fat reserve.
