Saw 4 monarchs today. This picture is dear to my heart because this is my backyard area that was semi barren a couple of weeks ago.

On a whim I went to Natorps nursery and bought several fireworks goldenrod, mexican hyssop, and butterfly bushes.

This monarch nectared at the blue Mexican hyssop for several hours and I am thrilled that I was able to help him/her so quickly!

This picture was also taken from my kitchen window so I am now able to monitor monarch activity easily in both front and back yards.
