Monarch Waystation #271 reports: I released one of the monarchs, a female, that I've been rearing indoors today. She was sporting Monarch Watch tag #YPR954 on her right wing and was released on the back patio at 10:10 am today. Just afterwards I found a wild male monarch nectaring on Tithonia in the front yard. He was netted, tagged with #YRP955 and released on the front patio @10:30 am. He flew to the west end of our building, around the corner across the front entrance of unit F and out of sight. I looked out the back patio door and did not see him in back so maybe he’s a migrant on his way. Adios, vaya con Dios!
