Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/08/2018

Number: 2

First day noticing a change. I've had four Ruby-throated hummers camping out at the feeders dawn to dusk for the past month but, today only noticed two random hummers. They would drink as much sugar water and darted off in a SE direction, unlike the previous days where they would fly up into the oak trees. Will continue to keep feeders cleaned and filled. Watching for any straglers migrating south. Appears to be the end of the 2018 season until they return back 1st of April and that's no April Fools Joke!!! Already miss these amazing acrobatic hummers.
