Released 5 more monarchs today. Tag number YYW847 male, YYW848, male, YYW849 male (this was the last tag I own at this time, therefore, the next female and a newborn I was unable to identify sex were placed on my butterfly bush, were no tagged). On Oct 6 an 7 none hatched and on Oct 8 one male hatched and flew back and forth, over the house before saying goodbye. I now have 21 possibilities of potential butterflies including a newborn, now 7 days old. 2 caterpillars and 18 pupae! I continue to see wild monarchs on my butterfly bushes comstantly. My happy place!!!
