Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/07/2018

Number: 2

Fewer hummers now, but they still stop by. Noticed two Sunday morning in a period of about one minute. The Royal Perch seems to be empty now, so perhaps Reyna went to Mexico for the winter (King left two weeks ago, or so it seems). When it's rainy, the birds stop to rest and refuel for the migration ahead. When we have clear blue skies, they don't dally for very long. Usually see them in the two live oaks in back, and flitting between the crepe myrtle, red maple, and live oak in front. Beautiful!

Also, Go Astros!
