Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/09/2018

Number: 3

Most incredible season yet for us - have 2 ruby juveniles along with an adult female visiting yesterday and today, even during terrible storms (young ones nectar then feed, adults go right to feeder). Have had visitors every single day without fail from 6/3 through 10/4 (and sporadic sightings before that beginning 4/7). Last sighting in 2017 was 10/8, so I thought 10/4 was it (and then had a small period of sadness lol) UNTIL a few jumpy babies showed up on 10/6 and again yesterday with a few more visitors today. Our Texas weather is a bit wild right now, will be curious to see when they feel the all clear to travel south. Such a pure beautiful joy to witness this!
