I counted over 50 migrating Monarchs today while outdoors. I drove to Leaning Rock Raptor Observatory to watch for migrating raptors, seeing a few Monarchs pass by along the ridge line. Conditions were not optimum there. Then I visited a local apple orchard and saw many throughout the area. It has been an excellent year, with many friends also reporting seeing Monarchs all thru the summer.
