Saw at least seven monarchs today nectaring on cosmos flowers. I caught and tagged four of them. A female tagged YPC 455, and three males YPC 456, YPC 457, YPC 458. Warm sunny day with highs in the low 80s. Southerly breeze that calmed in the afternoon. I saw the majority of the butterflies in the late afternoon. Saw one in the morning.
