Saw 4 monarchs nectaring along 2 km path along Lake Ontario shore. 6 PM in evening, record daytime temps for this date. At time of observation it had cooled to 24C , winds moderate from south high humidity.. Few clouds. All seen on asters since golden rod etc past prime..
