My 6th and 7th grade Spanish students were exited to send mariposas to Mexico. They are looking forward to receiving some mariposas back with a message in Spanish. We are using this project to learn about parts of the bodies in animals, actions, descriptions and comparisons. We will include the symbolism of monarch for the Day of the Dead celebration.
