My 7th and 8th grade Spanish students were exited to send mariposas to Mexico. They are looking forward to receiving some mariposas back with a message in Spanish. We are using this project to create a story about why a monarch butterfly wants to go to Mexico, and how do they know where to get.We will include the symbolism of monarch for the Day of the Dead celebration.
