I know two doesn't seem like very many, but I believe it is the peak migration through Munford, Ala. They were one male and one female, but they were not interested in each other, nor were they interested in any of the several varieties of milkweed in my garden. This is the day after Hurricane Michael skirted the area, and wind was still rather strong from the cold front that pushed the hurricane to the east. The Monarchs were among seven or eight species of butterfly here today, and they stayed in the garden for several hours.
