Around 3 pm, S/he circled a sapling Autumn Blaze maple that was starting turn, probably for about 5 minutes. I couldn’t decide if it was looking for a roosting site or nectar flowers. We had frost this morning and it was a cool day, so I was surprised to see it. I was too far away to identify its gender.
