About mid-morning I watched a female laying eggs on the tropical milkweed, rest for a while and then continued her journey. She appeared intact; not badly faded or tattered. After she left I counted 40 eggs.
In the late afternoon, two more monarchs visited the garden and nectared on blue mistflower and chased each other around the garden.
