Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/15/2018

Number: 3

Still seeing sub adult/ juevenille looks like Ruby throats. One is very curious looking at my floral hat around 7 a.m. hovering over it.Youngsters are very entertaining to watch in slower motions.

Cold front arriving should be interesting to see if they stick it out here. We are going from 91 yesterday to 60 today. It is now 9 a.m. with quick air change. Here we go with winter finally.Tired of mosquitoes during hummingbird watch.
I would like to add my son at Sufrsude beach Texas has not seen any ruby throats at feeders this fall migration. Giant Red Oleander attractor is not blooming for them this year yet, may be reason.

One hummingbird is trying to nectar quickly at giant gurantica in front of hummingbird crossing sign in pic as it is now very dark out with cold front arriving.

This may be my last sightings of ruby throats fall migration 2018.
