I returned from a short trip, and as I was strolling through the yard, I noticed that the milkweed plants hardly had any leaves. I wondered and hoped, was it the monarch caterpillar that did this? A few days later, I found the evidence of a single caterpillar! I can only presume that a few days earlier, I probably had many more!
