Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/16/2018

Number: 2

Have had hummers passing through all season but they don't stay as long as they did before obviously. This is a young male ruby - first saw him about 4 days ago. This morning was a little chilly after a passing front and lots of rain. Brought both feeders in last night and put them out in the a.m. and soon after caught him resting in my Texas Hibiscus near the feeder....all fluffy and fat looking! He will probably leave soon. I have a female too and she drinking long drinks this morning but moving very slow.
