In the midst of very strong winds, saw two monarchs at the Doubletop Mountain OL (MM 435.3) of the Blue Ridge Parkway nectaring low to the ground on heal all and clover. These two were actually "fighting" over the limited flowers. This was around 1 p.m. and 61 degrees.
