I was at work, but mu husband says he saw a monarch flying from our yard, towards Carey St (going south)... (I wonder if it's the same cutie I saw fluttering past my window at work yesterday midday, a few miles north along the river!)
Last night was around freezing & since I had seen the butterfly yesterday I covered our butterfly bush overnight & asked husband to uncover around 10am... just in case. High today was below 50deg. There was some sunshine.
