This is a conservative estimate. Robins have been massing in large numbers in the yard for the past week or so. We're at a woodland edge, which provides good cover for migrating flocks. At one point, I counted at least 20 in my field of vision, and there were many more in the trees and surrounding properties. Currently, they're blending well with the colorful Hickory and Oak leaves.
