Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/17/2018

Number: 1

After our unexpected snow storm in Lincoln NE on Monday, I was surprised to see our young male Ruby Throat Hummingbird made it. Now that the sun is out & temps are warmer, the Honey bees are taking over all the feeders including the bee proof feeder. I’m hoping the Hummer has moved onward to the South. It was exhausting to keep the bees away so I’m happy he’s gone. I’ve had a fulfilling fall season with the amazing turnout of Hummingbirds. Can’t wait for Spring!
