There were about 20 Monarchs nectaring on our butterfly bush on a very cloudy afternoon. About 3:45 p.m. they started circling up and around a group of nearby white pine trees until the last one left the bush at 4:15 p.m. just as it started to rain. I counted 8 scattered in the pines but I believe they all stayed.
