Norway maples showing deep color. Golds popping on other trees. Still a lot of green. Had a heavier freeze, killing off tomatoes I was growing. Green pepper still alive, but not producing. Still have some flowers planted for bees and birds.

Mid 60s today with sun. I've not seen any signs of Hummers, bees nor butterflies. Had been seeing sulphers, tigers and brushfoors. Not seen any monarchs, but one.

Sun sets about 6 pm. It's 7 am right now and Dawn just breaking. It sucks to have the dark closing in so early.
