Female ruby-throated has been coming to a feeder for about a week I noticed her checking out the crabapples in my front yard. I put out a small sugar solution feeder as we have had a hard a couple of hard frosts and even a snow squall 3 days ago. Only asters are left for nectaring creatures. She has been here over a week. I will keep the feeder out until the end of the month when all wise hummers should be well south.
