on a warm afternoon after a few cold wet days, monarchs seen flying above pecan treetops across the street. Not nectaring, just flying, although they stopped to flutter around the two tall trees. So there are a few around. There were a few queens at mistflowers in the yard, and a single monarch came down to join them.
