This monarch is very late leaving for his migration south.... he finally seems to have left. No more sightings since. He stayed around through some pretty cold nights for about a week.
This season we saw a lot of monarchs here in CT and in NH our milkweeds had about 15 caterpillars that we saw. Yeah! Better than last year when we saw practically none!
