Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/27/2018

Number: 12

After so much rainy weather in Central Texas I was delighted to see a beautiful sunny day and multiple Monarchs feeding in my pollinator garden. The few previous Monarchs that had passed through fed almost exclusively on Gregg's Blue Mistflower. On this sunny day there was fierce competition for nectar among the 6 or 7 varieties of butterflies that came to feed, so the Monarchs tanked up for most of the day on almost every blooming thing available before continuing on their journey.
