This is a follow-up photo to my 10/27/2018 Monarch Adult Sighted report in which I observed 30+ monarchs, most of which were nectaring on blooming goldenrod. In the mix were other butterflies, including queens, Gulf fritillaries, and buckeyes (like this one). All seemed very content to be near each other (even seeming to prefer to be close) and were thoroughly focused on the refreshing nectar.
