We've been seeing several per day visiting the native plants in our yard since Friday, Oct. 26 when the weather cleared in Austin. I also saw several in downtown Austin over the weekend, flying along just above head level during the Dia de los Muertos Procession and the Texas Book Festival. Wonderful! The healthy-looking male in this photo lingered in our yard this afternoon feeding on Lantana.
