We've been seeing one or two hummingbirds per day checking out the feeders and, especially, our multiple gardens of turks' cap and tropical honeysuckle.

I'll keep the feeders out and fresh as long as we see a bird and you folks to the north report sightings.

The birds we're seeing appear healthy but not as "bulked up" as we expect.
