I observed 8 Monarchs nectaring on the butterfly bushes this afternoon. Skies were partly cloudy with S-SW winds 10 mph and a temp of 80 degrees. Monarchs continue to increase in numbers ahead of frontal passages and decrease in number as they move south on the north winds behind the front.
