Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 10/31/2018

Number: 1

Yesterday, while doing yard work, found 2 adult female monarchs, each in a separate area, expired in spider webs. So sad. As I was trimming my elephant ear plants I was surprised to find a monarch cocoon! I left it attached to the leaf and put it over the tropical milkweed plants so it was hanging down.

Then today I had a live female fluttering around me as was doing yard work. (It wasn’t from the cocoon)
