Two medium sized Monarch larvae were on a group of butterfly weeds in a pan in our patio on 10/29/18. On 10/30, only one larvae was there. By 10/31/18, they're both gone.
Two other shrubs showed signs of having been eaten by Monarch larvae. One of the plants had no leaves left on its stems. It was totally cleaned off! Success! Will keep growing more butterfly weeds.
Hope to see the adults soon!
Godspeed, Monarchs!
