Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/31/2018

Number: 600

Since 11:00 am we started to see many monarchs in Monterrey City, and we continued to see an important flow all afternoon, passing through the gritty streets, between the chaos of the market in downtown, very impressive to watch them flying between buildings and crowded avenues and along the Santa Catarina River. Difficult to calculate the flow, they were many, maybe about 200 every 10 minutes (for giving an approximate amount). The sky of Monterrey full of butterflies! Also many queens, american snouts and others.
