At least 18 Monarchs nectaring in the bottlebrush along with bees, gnats and other butterflies. Tremendous nectar plant. We have had 15 to 20 Monarchs all day long, every day, since October 21st. Storm blew through last night. Winds are from the southeast. We had 8/10th of an inch of rain. Hope they all found shelter. Have been tagging for Monarch Watch. Ran out of tags at 25. :(
