Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers
Sightings report image

Date: 11/02/2018

Number: 2

We're still home to a juvenile male and a female Ruby Throated hummer. They sip on a feeder, then hover downward to drink from the Firespike, Odontonema cuspidatum, one of the hummer favorites still blooming in the fall, and if I protect it during freezes, the perennial will still bloom throughout winter.
