I saw the monarch around 12:30 pm. S/he was flying quickly along the creek, stopping on plants but not long enough for me to catch up and get a picture. There were still some asters blooming, and it was sunny and low-60s. The butterfly isn't visible in the picture, but this is the location where I saw him/her.
