Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 11/07/2018

Number: 28

A flurry of Monarch activity at the waystation. Wherever there was an available flower, there was a Monarch feeding. Also lots of Queen Monarchs as well along with the regular Monarchs. Had a mating pair flying around the garden and resting in the magnolia. Had two chrysalises turn black, sad to say. Waiting to see if the other two will do the same. Keep finding chrysalises hanging from the barren milkweed - the caterpillars I had last month ate everything up.
