Rained night before (8th) 2:04 pm Mostly clear sky, 54 deg F, wind N 14mph, baro 30.35, humidity 54%. Winds picked up abt 3 and shifted NNE, gusts up to 26 mph, dropping wind chill -- both took off abt 3 pm, headed SW. Overnight temps this site were 32 deg F (6:47 am Sat 10 Nov).
They were big and beautiful; I am so sad for them.
Still had Ageratina havanensis, Buddleia davidii, Echinacea purpurea, Verbesina encelioides, Lantana urticoides, Conoclinium greggii, Zinnia elegans, Palafoxia texana,
Salvia farinacea in good bloom.
