I’ve seen the little juvenile male Rufous all day today. He flits between two feeders, nectars at what flowers are left on the Chaste tree, and has been chasing off the House Finches. He is a funny little thing. It is weird to see one that is largely orange. I’m used to the Rubies and Black Chin. I had to sneak up on him to get a decent photo. He doesn’t sit still long.
