Both male and female slightly faded. Observed female laying LOTS of eggs on tropical m/w; swamp m/w and giant m/w. Also had 3 4th instar cats on tropical m/w and a few 1st or 2nd instar cats. Between Sept 16th and Oct 8th I released 61 Monarchs. Cut all of my m/w back at the end of Sept, but all plants have beautiful new leaves. I have also seen more Queen butterflies in my yard this year than usual. A few weeks ago I saw a very faded female Monarch in my yard and she appeared to be laying eggs. I have not brought any eggs or cats inside to rear since the end of September.
