I am a volunteer from the St. Louis Zoo teen volunteer program, called Zoo ALIVE. In our garden, we planted 25-30 tulips that will go in our “bad garden”. The “good” and “bad” gardens show visitors gardens that house native plants versus one that is unfriendly to native species-including tulips, which although are pretty, aren’t native to Missouri.
