Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 12/08/2018

Number: 1

Thought all the hummingbirds were gone south, no still have one coming to my feeder. Have noticed the level of nectar going down but saw it this morning. Has been here since at as least mid November. Seems like it's travel clock is not ticking, should have been long gone south. Believe it plans to spend the winter here. Mid 20's next week. Don't know what to do but keep nectar in the feeder for it. If I take the feeder down do you think it would go ahead and head south or just stay here and starve. This can't have a happy ending unless it heads south soon. Maybe too late even now. Southaven MS just south of Memphis TN.
